The Pre-Junior Program is a unique project at EPAM Campus run in collaboration with the IT Ukraine Association, designed specifically for high schoolers. Only participants aged 14-18 can take part in the learning.

The program offers insights into:

  • Ukraine's IT sector, key trends, and future prospects;
  • Types of IT companies and their differences;
  • Roles and professions in the IT field, and main specializations;
  • Basics of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);
  • Internet security, phishing, and cybersecurity;
  • Artificial intelligence, and how it can assist in creating texts, presentations, writing code, generating images, and more.

In addition to general introductory lectures, participants can explore one or more chosen directions: Python, Cybersecurity, or AI.

Registration is open until September 23, 9:00 AM, and the group will begin training on October 14. Classes are held online 1-4 times a week (depending on the chosen directions) over the course of 8 weeks.

What is required for training:

  • Pupils of 9-11 grades who are 14-18 years old at the time of the program’s start.
  • Interest in IT and wish to learn more about software development.
  • Willingness and ability to attend online classes for 2 months.
  • Written legal representative consent to participate in the program.
How to get started?
  1. Click the "Register" button on this page. If you are creating a new account, please fill in all the required information about yourself.
  2. Complete the survey by September 23, 2024, 09:00, which will be sent to your email immediately after registration and appear in your profile on this portal.
  3. Parents or legal representatives of participants under the age of 18 must sign a written consent that will be sent to them.

All the stages are required, candidates who will not complete at least one of them will not be considered for the program automatically. The number of places in the group is limited, so the selection will be based on filling out a form on basic knowledge of technologies. The organizers reserve the right to refuse participation or exclude participants in case of violation of the registration rules or non-fulfillment of the program conditions.
